I have been developing a body of work using figure drawing on wet paper where some of the control over the final image is given over to the materials. Initially the figures were collaged onto one of my favourite surfaces to work on, paper shopping bags. I developed the work firstly with a banner and then made a group of free standing figures to use to ‘populate’ Dungeness.
